Coalitions of Concerned Teachers have revealed
that it will soon embark on a demonstration nationwide if their issues of
salary disparities are not addressed as soon as possible. Speaking in an
exclusive interview with Kapital News, Ashanti Regional Chairman for the group,
Mr. Kingsley Darko mentioned that the demonstration should be expected soon and
admonished families, relatives and any persons who have not benefited from
teachers to join the demonstration. Mr. Darko mentioned that the Coalition of
Concerned Teachers held a press briefing on Tuesday July 10 to lay their
grievances including their market premium issue and the withdrawal of the
Better Ghana advert which supposedly makes mockery of teachers. Meanwhile Mr.
Kingsley Darko stated that unlike the Ghana National Association of Teachers
and the National Association of Graduate Teachers who gave an ultimatum to the
