POLICE WILL PROTECT LIVES AND PROPERTY


The Ashanti Regional police command have arrested the remaining gangsters that engaged the police in a shoot-out on last Saturday that resulted in the death of one Kwaku Asante. Addressing the press, DCOP Augustine Gyening showed the press one long cutlass which he says belong to the deceased and six locally manufactured pistols with four cartridges and one shot knife which was retrieved from those arrested. He further refuted report that suggests the deceased is innocent and that the police killed the wrong man since no innocent person will wield this dangerous cutlass. Those arrested today are Faisal Alhassan 14yrs, Awudu Zaidan 13yrs,Adam Rashid 15yrs, GadoZakaria 15yrs, Fuseini Adam 17yrs, Hallaru Kamal 13yrs, Mohammed Suraya 15yrs, Sumaila Abdallah 15yrs, Mohameed Awal  Abdallah21yrs,  Fuseini Seidu 15yrs and Mohammed Yussif 25yrs. He further observed that the police is committed to protecting innocent people and property but will deal rudely with any individual or group of people the will default the laws of the land.
