NPP ON ALERT

The New Patriotic Party Parliamentary Candidate for Obuasi Mr. Kweku Kwarteng has described as an unclear and confused strategy, government’s job creation policy. He says the job creation efforts of the ruling NDC government over the last three and half years has only benefitted foreigners and not Ghanaian nationals. His comment follows an assurance by Vice-President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-that government is committed to expanding the country’s economy through job creation. Speaking in Kumasi yesterday, he said the better Ghana agenda has job creation as one of the four pillars, and the National Democratic Congress administration is committed to delivering that to the latter. But speaking to Kapital news, Kwaku Kwarteng says a clear strategy is needed. But Deputy Minister for Employment and Social Welfare, Antwi Boasiako Sekyere says government’s job creation efforts have been on course over the last three and half years.
