POLITICS IN GHANA

Mr. Kwasi Boateng, a political analyst has stated that Martin Amidu condolence to the late president in which he wrote that he (Martin Amidu) fought the system and not the personality of the late president is an objective view of the former Attorney General. Mr. Boateng said the issues raised by the former Attorney General during and after when he was in office was of public interest since it was corruption related issues and the media have started even interrogating the matter before the former Attorney General started raising the matter. He is therefore of the opinion that there is nothing wrong with what the former Attorney General wrote in the condolence book and nobody should read bad meaning into it that is because the late president is no more that Mr. Amidu wants to say something good about the late president to cover up his previous criticism of the late president.
